In 1921, J.E. Dunn, Sr. founded the Dunn Electric Company in Kansas City, Missouri, U.S.A. Due to its focus in residential construction, the company was renamed JE Dunn Construction in 1924. As their population grew, JE Dunn's construction portfolio expanded into the commercial construction field, including apartment buildings, fire stations, schools, churches, and hospitals. JE Dunn Group has grown to become the 7th largest builder in the United States, and the 10th largest privately held company in the United States worth over $5 Billion Dollars.
